The ‘Cheers’ Factor – Part 2

October 30th, 2009

‘Cheers’ was the place where “everybody knows your name.”

In marketing, there aren’t too many things more important than the Cheers Factor.

Here’s why…

If people don’t know you, they won’t trust you. And they until they trust you, they aren’t going to spend a dime with you.

It’s that simple. No trust – no sale.

Obviously your first marketing mission is to get known. Once your client knows something about you, the door to trust is opened, which leads to sales, referrals and profits.

Fortunately, getting known isn’t that hard. For proof of this, just look at Paris Hilton and all those Kardashians. If THEY can become famous, anyone can be become well-known.

So while its great if “everybody knows your name”, getting those same people to trust and to like you is much more difficult.

This is where a customer newsletter like Exceptional Living is extremely valuable to you. It’s the ultimate portal to creating a trusting client relationship.

Here’s why this is important:

Gallup Poll research shows that the key to wooing customers isn’t product or even price. It’s emotion.

A newsletter that reveals your own emotional engagement leads to a more loyal and profitable customer list. People go out of their way to deal with someone whose values they respect, whose style they like, and whose sincerity they appreciate.

When people believe in you, they demonstrate it with their loyalty and by bringing in more business to you.

Exceptional Living does this in many ways. The best example is right on the first page, with the ‘My Corner’ column.

The October issue talked about the Despicable Pet Owner. Buttons were pushed and people responded. It generated a ton of emotionally-charged calls and emails to our office.

It also increased sales by 27% over the previous month.

Check out what the fuss was all about.  You can read the October issue.

Just go to WebtoPrintIQ, activate your free account and check out Exceptional Living.

While you are there, you can also view the issue coming up in November and even inspect the September issue as well.

Taking action just feel right.

UNLEASH HELL on Today’s Tough Economy

October 21st, 2009

In 383 AD Roman General Maximus faced an opposing Gratian army 3 times his size and power…yet on the day of battle he ordered to his army “Upon my command, UNLEASH HELL!” and brought the advancing force to its knees claiming one of the greatest military victories in recorded history…

What does this have in common with YOUR success in business?

Like Maximus, most small biz entrepreneurs are out-gunned and outnumbered, with seemingly little or no hope for success.

Yet, many propelled themselves to astonishing victory and achievement because each of them possessed…

The right knowledge… the right strategy… and most important, the right TOOLS for success.

Smart, motivated businesses will seize the powerful opportunity to tame this tough market and prosper like never before. The question you need to ask yourself is…

Will YOU be one of the business owners “Unleashing Hell” in your market?

You can with a powerful tool capable of propelling your business into a thriving, victorious cash machine…regardless of the economy or whether you are located in a small town or a big city.

That strategic tool is Exceptional Living newsletter.  Read what these smart people had to say:

>>> “…48% revenue increase for the last two years.”
- Des Moines Carpet Care, Iowa

>>> “…. It’s professional and designed to catch your eye. I wouldn’t change a thing.”
- Margaret Seibert, Mt. Carmel, IL

>>> “…Exceptional Living brought in $12,000 in February from 22 customers.”
- Aaron Miller, Miller Brothers Auto Repair, WI

Just like military victory, the most successful entrepreneurs I know have a secret others don’t know about…

They use a well-written and designed client newsletter that is working for them every month to bond with clients, increase referrals and make money.

Hop over here to get started and unleash hell on YOUR market.

The only way you lose is by doing nothing.

The Reason I Sang For My Mother

October 18th, 2009

When I was a kid, we went to church three times a week… really.

Hymns were part and parcel with each service.

I hated singing.  Still do.  But, it was considered part of the program… so I sang.

However the REAL reason I sang was because I had mom’s watchful eye on me the whole time.

That’s the way it is with everything.

If we know someone is watching us, we usually ‘toe the line’ and do what’s expected of us.

Kinda like having a cop behind you when you come to a stop sign.

Marketing schedules could use this kind of help.

That’s why I wanted to let you know two things:

First, the November Exceptional Living newsletter is ready for you at WebToPrintIQ.

Second, we are hard at work on your very own customized marketing calendar, also found conveniently at WebToPrintIQ.

Imagine saving all of your postcard templates, seeing when the newsletter needs to be sent, getting reminders to send out reminders…

It will all be there in your Marketing Calendar.

I can’t wait to show off to you next month!

In the mean time… let’s get to work,

7 Reasons You DO NOT Need A Client Newsletter

October 12th, 2009

Maybe these reasons will resonate with you… or, maybe you think they’re a pile of crap.

7 reasons you DON’T need a client newsletter:

1.   Your customers don’t need to be reminded you appreciate their business.

2.   Everybody knows who you are and what you have to sell.

3.   You have more important worries than promoting your business.

4.   Your customers would never ‘jump ship’ for a competitor.

5.   Your competitors are not ‘gunning’ for your customers.

6.   Newsletters are just another business expense – not an investment.

7.   No one else uses newsletters, why should you stand out and be different?

Even if only ONE of these reasons sounds dumb to you, then get to work and start a kick-butt customer newsletter program that leaves your competitors confused and slack-jawed.

Doesn’t having clients for life sound really good to you?  That’s what relationship marketing is all about.

Our custom newsletter template is 97% done for you – actually, it’s brain-dead simple to use.

We even print it for you!

So there are no excuses… and no procrastinating.  Just do it – NOW.

Exceptional Living works.

Ask Aaron of Miller Brothers Auto Repair. Exceptional Living made his business $22K in one month from his newsletter mailing.

Are You Part of the Conversation This Month?

October 7th, 2009

Your clients are in conversations all the time.

They talk about their jobs, their kids, politics… whatever is on their minds.

To enter your customer’s conversation, three things have to take place.

1. Your client has to NOTICE when they are in a conversation about you or what you do.

2. Then they have to THINK of you.

3. Finally, they have to INTRODUCE you into the conversation.

While client newsletters are a fantastic way to be in contact with customers every month… the BIG purpose of a customer newsletter is to plant seeds that turn into more referrals and creat clients for life.

You do this (entering the conversation already going on) by being in your client’s awareness path.  Other marketers call this ‘top of conscientiousness’.

Whatever you call it… YOU want to be there.

Here’s a great example: Did you know Halloween is a biggest ADULT holiday of the year?  Lot’s of Halloween parties and decorations are going on next month.

Want to get mentioned and remembered by a client or patient in October?

Check out the October issue of Exceptional Living Newsletter.

The main article is called “America’s Most Haunted”. It’s a look at what many consider to be “the most haunted house in America.”

Imagine your client or patient getting this  newsletter in the mail (personalized with their first name, of course) and THEN mentioning it to their friends as they plan the big Halloween party together.

Check it out at WebtoPrintIQ now.

Be part of a lot of conversations this month. Newsletter marketing will make it happen.

Let’s get to work,
